Students from institutions participating in the IDEA Consortium

5. Number of Participants: 50 students in total (7 – 10 students from each institution)
6. Topic:  Entrepreneurship for Impact
  Overview of the program:    Do you have a business idea to make society better?  
Seeking not only economic impact but also social impact has been the key for achieving sustainable business, and will become more essential in the coming age with many unmet needs in society.   
In this online two-day interactive series of workshop, you will collaborate with diverse members from other universities as a team and go through the practical basics necessary for designing sustainable business ideas.
This can be a small but an important first step for exploring your entrepreneurship and making society better. Look forward to seeing you soon!
8. How to Apply: Institutions participating in the IDEA Consortium should select their participants. (NAIST students send email to geiot-contact@is.naist.jp)
9. Language:

English and Japanese
Materials are all in English; lecture and group discussions are both in English and Japanese; students are allowed to use English and/or Japanese to deliver their presentation.

 Participation Requirements:

  • Students who can participate on both days (January 15 & 16, 2022)
  • Students who have both stable internet connection and equipment (PC with microphone, headphones, video camera)
  • Students must be willing to communicate in both Japanese and English as needed, and actively participate in the group work.
